Our first Golden Retriever, Gauge

Our first litter

One of Maisy's litters consisted of three boys and one girl...  just like our kiddos!  :)

We added our first Golden Retriever to our family in 2005. Gauge was a fantastic family pet. He was loving, friendly and gentle with our small children.

After Gauge passed, we made the decision to raise Golden Retrievers. Rusty and Rosie's first litter consisted of four males. We loved our 8 weeks spent raising these puppies and made us excited for future litters. It’s very rewarding to be able to help others add a Golden Retriever to their family.

All of our dogs are Full Breed Golden Retrievers and are AKC Registered.  We do not breed our females every heat which means a female will only have a litter every 1-1.5 years.  This allows them to just be our pets for the majority of the year.  Our puppies are handled and played with on a daily basis. We implement ENS and ESI while raising the puppies in their early days.  Throughout their two months with us, we are intentional about gradually exposing the puppies to sounds, sights and experiences.

Yarrow Creek Goldens is a small breeder of AKC Registered Golden Retrievers.

We strive for all of our puppies to leave here as well-socialized family pets that will enhance the lives of the families that love them.

We have a specially designed building for our puppies and dogs just steps away from our home.  It is monitored 24/7, heated, cooled and ventilated and has giant windows that fill the space with natural light.
When designing the space, everything was carefully chosen so cleaning and sanitizing can easily be done.  We have a comfy couch and chairs to lounge in during the long hours of whelping or to just be comfortable while spending time with the puppies and dogs.
The building also has a large room for bathing puppies and dogs, a washer/dryer for the many loads of puppy laundry and storage space for dog food, supplies, toys, etc.
